No Bones

They made no waves and raised no alarm. The pod swam on unconcerned about raising concern.

"Why do they all surface at the same time?"
"It's like when you're walking with someone else."

Pod

Taken: 06/14/2012 somewhere around Yes Bay, AK. We followed this pod for three and a half hours while they periodically fanned out and scouted the shores for food. While we were alongside them they would occasionally slap the water with their tails or pectoral fins. They poked their heads up out of the water to get a better look around. A couple rolled over belly up to give us a wave with the right pectoral. We were their captives.

Skiff (For Scale)

There are hardly words to describe Southeast. Images are a drop but they show. In person the scale was impossible to grasp, I cannot imagine what it may look like to someone who has not been, seen, heard.

Dawes Glacier
Taken: 06/10/2012 at Dawes Glacier, Tracy Arm, Tongass National Forest, Alaska. Bonus points for spotting an Arctic Tern.
